Director, Global OR1 Image Management

This exciting new global position is based in Tuttlingen, Germany and will have responsibility for a significant portion of the product portfolio of OR1, our market-leading integrated operating room. Chief responsibility will be to direct OR1 global image management in alignment with global and key market needs, providing for competitive advantage and growth while generating a high ROI. The Director will coordinate product program development (internal and external); provide specs to product development resources; coordinate between different product areas; establish and manage outside vendor relationships; and manage contract related issues. The Director will supervise the efforts of the Global Product Manager for OR1 Digital AV routing and will interface globally with key international customers and opinion leaders as well as our global OR1 team. The position will have significant interface with sustaining engineering resources around the globe.

• Relevant technical / product management experience on a global basis
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-cultural, international teams and to assemble relevant data into a cohesive whole.
• Strong knowledge of digital AV, streaming video, and IP-designed solutions
• Solid awareness of healthcare IT networks
• Program management / systems integration know-how for overall image management chain
• Significant experience focusing on developmental projects and technologies
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
• Exposure to Regulatory Affairs considerations and processes
• Ability to accommodate a heavy international travel schedule
• Solid leadership, communications, organization, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Ability to complete projects on time and under pressure
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German helpful, but not required
